Imagine a Thursday night. You come back from an aerobic dance session (yes, yes, it still exists) with This is Arnold, the most fun class of the moment. You've put on your best outfit: a printed leotard, a lilac crop top and a sequined belt.

When suddenly... It's time for a trip to the supermarket! In the compote section, you get itchy, a little stretch, and you can head for the fruit stalls. There, like a desire to do a side cladding to show everyone your brand new chocolate bars. Without forgetting to transform the watermelons into weights to end up with arm work.

Welcome to the quirky world created by Maje and Varley during a collaboration that is as funny as it is sporty. The two brands have chosen to unite their universes (just like their logos, an M and a V which marry) and unveil on October 15 on their respective websites, as well as in a selection of Maje stores, a collection of 21 pieces. Available at prices ranging from 20 to 295 euros, the line is inspired by sportswear, remixed with 70's sauce. Leopard print leggings, long neon fitness socks, headbands, shorts, jumpsuits, bodysuits, jackets, bras, mats, caps, tops and even terrycloth cuffs! So many clothes and accessories that mix Maje's fashion DNA and the technical know-how of Varley, a label straddling London and Los Angeles.

Happy Birthday, M de Maje

For Maje, 2021 is a busy year. In addition to innovative collaborations (with Varley, therefore, but also with Cobalto Studio a few months earlier), the label founded by Judith Milgrom in 1998 is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its it bag, the M. A true best-seller of the brand ( 140 are sold a day worldwide), this rectangular handbag is available in five versions for the occasion. Super long fringes to play it bohemian, other tiny ones that dress the M from head to toe, mini sizes that accompany us in the evening... Pieces to associate with the label's signature accessories, card holders or embossed crocodile aircases. In short, Maje is extending its list of essentials a little further, and we like that.
